The Hadrian Collection

The story of Hadrian and Antinous has inspired many of my pieces, this is a special- still growing- collection of them that I have defined as my official series.

Hadrian was a Roman emperor who fell in love with a young man named Antinous. The young man drowned in the Nile River on one of their trips, and Hadrian was so heartbroken that he had Antinous deified. Antinous remains one of the most sculpted people of his era.
